About Current Riders
Current Riders is a locally owned eBike shop in Fort Myers Beach. We enjoy being outdoors and staying active, and we wanted to help others do the same. As an authorized dealer for Lectric, Juiced, Monarc, Urtopia, and other electric bike brands, we offer test rides, professional assembly, local service, rentals, and support long after the sale.
Sometimes we're asked where the name Current Riders came from. It has a few different meanings. Current represents the water that surrounds us here in Southwest Florida, the electric current that powers an eBike, and the products we carry that make it easier for people to get outside and stay active. Riders is about the people who enjoy exploring, whether that's on the road or on the water.
We came up with Current Riders after Hurricane Ian changed our perspective on life. Like so many people here, it reminded us not to take our time for granted. It also made us think differently about what we wanted our business to stand for. We wanted to help people remove barriers that might keep them from getting outside and staying active.
That's one of the reasons we enjoy selling eBikes. For some, it's a folding bike that fits in the back of their car or RV. For others, it's an eBike that lets them ride farther or keep up with family and friends. There are even ultra-lightweight models that are easy to lift, transport, and store. Everyone has a different reason for wanting an eBike, and we enjoy taking the time to understand what you're looking for.
